Joyce ja hänen kuusi pentuaan etsivät koteja

Joyce on aikuinen emokissa, joka saapui Kisu Ry:lle kuuden pentunsa kanssa viime joulukuussa. Joyce synnytti pentunsa alun perin navettaan, ja koko perhe pääsi turvaan ensikotiin pentujen ollessa noin 2 kuukauden ikäisiä. Nyt pennut ovat noin 3 kuukauden ikäisiä ja valmiita muuttamaan omiin koteihinsa helmikuun alussa.

Pentueessa on 3 poikaa ja 3 tyttöä:
tytöt Jane, Holly ja Kali sekä pojat Mike, Will ja Jonathan.

Joyce ja pennut eivät ole vielä täysin ihmiseen tottuneita. Kaikki tarvitsevat vielä aikaa ja kärsivällisyyttä sosiaalistuakseen, mutta kehitystä tapahtuu koko ajan. Pennut ovat erittäin leikkisiä, uteliaita ja rohkeita. Joyce on edelleen arka, mutta tulee jo rohkeasti lähelle syömään, juttelee suloisesti ja tulee mielellään hakemaan herkkuja.

Kaikilla on erinomainen ruokahalu ja hiekkalaatikon käyttö sujuu moitteettomasti. Arki ensikodissa on lähtenyt hyvin käyntiin.

Pennut luovutetaan ensisijaisesti pareittain, sillä ne saavat toisistaan turvaa, seuraa ja tukea uuteen elämään. Joyce etsii kotia, jossa olisi ennestään ystävällinen ja sosiaalinen kissakaveri, jolta hän voisi ottaa mallia ja jonka avulla rohkaistua vähitellen ihmisten seuraan.

Toivomme Joycelle ja pennuille rauhallisia, kärsivällisiä ja ymmärtäviä koteja, joissa tiedostetaan arkojen kissojen tarpeet ja annetaan aikaa luottamuksen rakentumiselle kissan ehdoilla.

Kissat luovutetaan leikattuna, rokotettuna, madotettuna, sirutettuna ja FIV/FeLV-testattuna.

Joyce and her six kittens are looking for homes

Joyce is an adult mother cat who arrived at Kisu Ry with her six kittens last December. Joyce originally gave birth to her kittens in a barn, and the whole family was brought to safety to our foster home when the kittens were about 2 months old. The kittens are now around 3 months old and will be ready to move to their new homes in early February.

There are 3 boys and 3 girls in the litter:
girls Jane, Holly and Kali, and boys Mike, Will and Jonathan.

Joyce and the kittens are not yet fully accustomed to people. They all still need time and patience to continue socializing, but progress is being made all the time. The kittens are very playful, curious, and brave. Joyce is still timid, but already comes close to eat, meows sweetly, and bravely comes close to people for treats.

All of the cats have a very good appetite and use the litter box well. Everyday life in the foster home has gotten off to a great start.

The kittens are primarily adopted out in pairs, as they provide each other with security, companionship, and support as they adjust to their new lives. Joyce is looking for a home that already has a friendly and social cat, who can set an example for her and help her gradually gain more confidence around people.

We hope to find calm, patient, and understanding homes for Joyce and her kittens that recognize the needs of shy cats and are willing to give them time to build trust on the cats’ own terms.

The cats are adopted out spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV.
