Molly ja Sofia ovat kaksi kaunista mustaa naaraskissaa, jotka on talteenotettu Punkalaitumen populaatiosta alkuvuodesta. Mollyn (kuvassa etualalla) arvioidaan olevan 1-2-vuotias ja Sofian (takana) noin 3-vuotias. Mollylla on vähän valkoista rinnassa ja Sofialla on myös muutama valkoinen karva edessä, mutta ne ovat muuten täysin mustia.

Molly ja Sofia ovat molemmat edelleen hyvin arkoja ja elämä ihmisten kanssa on pelottavaa,  luonteeltaan ovat kuitenkin kilttejä eivätkä lainkaan aggressiivisia. Kissat viettävät suurimman osan päivästään piiloutuen kuljetuslaatikkoon, jossa köllöttelevät yhdessä. Yöaikaan he kuitenkin aktivoituvat, alkavat tutkia ympäristöään sekä leikkivät joko keskenään tai löytämiensä lelujen kanssa. Molly aloitti jo leikkimisen myös ihmisen läsnäollessa, koska ei voi vastustaa lentävää höyhentä!

Molly ja Sofia etsivät yhteistä kotia, koska ovat jo sopeutuneet todella hyvin toisiinsa ja löytävät lohtua toistensa läsnäolosta. Molly näyttää seuraavan Sofiaa kaikessa mitä hän tekee ja seuraa hänen esimerkkiään koko ajan. He tarvitsisivat kärsivällisen kodin, jossa saavat aikaa tottua ihmisten kanssa elämiseen.

Molly and Sofia are two beautiful black female cats rescued from a colony in Punkalaidun. Molly (in the front in the photo) is estimated to be 1-2 years old and Sofia (in the back) is about 3 years old. Molly has quite a bit of white on her chest and Sofia has a few white hairs as well in the front, but they are otherwise completely black.

They are both still very shy and life with a human is still quite scary for them, even though they are very submissive and not at all aggressive. They spend most of their day hiding in the carrying box, where they cuddle up together. In the nighttime, however, they both activate and start exploring their environment and playing with each other or with the toys they find lying around. Molly already started playing in the presence of a human too, because she cannot resist catching that flying feather!

Molly and Sofia are looking for a home together, since they have already bonded really well and find comfort in each other’s presence. Molly seems to look up to Sofia in everything they do, following her lead all the time. They would need a patient home that is willing to give them time to adjust to living indoors and can give them space to grow accustomed to people.
